Building the Veins Of Silver Medicine Wheel

In 2005, I lived in a tiny house that was bursting with love.  At the end of the driveway was a big barn.   Next to it was the big back yard that absolutely needed a medicine wheel.

I ended up making 2 wheels.  This one became my logo.  The other was moved over into the middle of the yard and was my working wheel.
The sand was eventually recycled into fixing the driveway.

So I ordered 3 tons of sand for the base.   Got it from the local quarry and had it delivered one beautiful Saturday morning.    Here are Manin, Doc and Ellie raking.

Lou came over just in time to help with the next step, which was to create the perimeter of the circle using a stick and rope.

The simplest wheel only needs 5 stones.  There are many ways to make a wheel - just follow your heart.  Next we laid out the stones on the grass beside the wheel.

Doing this gave us the opportunity to put the stones in their appropriate places and set the energy.
Each stone has a frequency; each has a purpose in the wheel.  To spin it, I include  waves and ripples that are used to speed up or slow down the energy as it is moving around the wheel.
Each medicine wheel is as unique as the frequencies of the folks who build and use it.   Everywhere we place our feet on the earth, we leave our unique energetic imprints.

Here is the completed wheel.
We still wanted to do some decoration for the VOS, LLC logo.

And then of course, we had to have a ceremony and celebrate.
